You make a great couple, good luck in your new home and didn’t you have an absolutely fab day.
So nervous before the ceremony and so relaxed afterwards !!
Blue sky and a lovely day for Jess & Richard, we enjoyed taking your Photographs and meeting you all.
Great wedding photography is about more than just the physical act of shooting images, it is about putting people at ease, working closely with clients to ensure your photographer captures all the special moments throughout the day.
The relationship with your photographer is very important, as well as having a over whelming feeling that the trust you have placed in this photographer is going to be matched by them delivering beautiful images of your very special day. You certainly do not want someone who is going to take over the event and stop you from enjoying the best day of your life.
Do remember a good wedding photographer is a person who will be able to get the best out of people on the day in other words someone who is a “people person” and not someone who will show you great images when you go to see them but won’t deliver on the day.
Some of the greatest image producers are commercial photographers unfortunately generally they also make the worst wedding photographers.
The importance of choosing a good photographer is often over-looked until after the event when it’s to late, remember the images from your day will give you an enormous amount of pleasure over the years to come and as such they are priceless. Do remember that when everything has been eaten, drunk or sent back, your wedding dress and photographs will live forever.
Choose a professional photographer and one that belongs to known trade associations if you like the work the photographer produces ask how many weddings they cover each year, how long they have been going, whether they have back up equipment on the day.
Once you have picked your photographer plan you day with them ie: do you want photography getting ready, timings of the events of the day any set up shots, are they staying until speeches or first dance ?
Find out exactly what the fee charged covers ie: Is it attendance only or does it including an album or dvd of images, who owns the copyright etc.
Also think about the Images you will end up with do they enhance the images to remove signs and obstructions; you don’t want to see a really nice photo of you with a no smoking or exit sign above your head.
Do you want all colour images or a mixture of colour, black and white and how many formal images do you want if any.
